Cool Baby Clothes... How it started

In the winter of 2005 my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Allie. We were pretty bummed with the lack of cool baby stuff available at the mall and retail stores. The baby girl clothes, and the baby boy clothes for that matter, were all so dated looking. There certainly was no shortage of horribly generic baseball, toy car, football, and little duckie onesies.

Our quest for punk baby clothing did not stop there. We then moved on to online retailers and baby boutiques. What we found were a handful of really hip onesies and tees that we initially thought we would buy. That is until we saw the prices! We were blown away by the crazy prices we kept seeing. thirty six dollars for one baby onesie that might get worn two or three times! No freakin way. I kept saying to my wife... "I could make cooler stuff at way cheaper prices." So, the work began.

Our goal was to create cool baby clothes that had three important features. One, they had to be made from super soft one hundred percent cotton. Two, our hip baby clothes had to feature the cool designs we were after. And three, the price had to be better than all of our competition.  

After several long months of preperation, research, graphic design, website construction, ordering, printing, office furnishing, warehouse arranging and other fun and exciting (expensive) stuff we were finally ready to launch. In the summer of 2007 Crazy Baby Clothing Co. was born.
